Provincial police say seven objects containing a video recording device have been recovered from public spaces

A Toronto man has been charged with voyeurism after a female model allegedly found a video camera in a changing room last week, Toronto police said.

The 27-year-old man was arrested on Friday and released on bail. He was charged with three counts of voyeurism, one count of attempting to commit a sexual assault and one count of making a sexual video of someone without their consent.

According to a police statement, three items were recovered from public spaces in Toronto, leading police to identify the man as a suspect.

“On Friday 12 August, a woman discovered a video camera in a washroom at a Toronto warehouse office after performing a fitting for her industry-related business,” police said in a statement.

“The victim reported the incident to a nearby business, who in turn contacted police and detectives subsequently located the suspect.”

No information on the fashion label or woman involved was released.
