Among the most memorable moments of last year’s “Avengers: Infinity War” is the scene in which Spider-Man (Tom Holland) goes up against Thanos (Josh Brolin) through a portal that houses the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, and gets bitten by a radioactive spider.
Surrounded by all sorts of top-secret military and technology, the young hero is mostly unarmed and ambushed by a host of enemies when he stumbles across the oasis.
The sequence was filmed in three rolls, Holland has said, with the whole thing taking around 30 hours.

The tussle between the two superheroes features with a breathtaking production design with all manner of unexpected features to look out for.
But Holland and Zendaya (who plays Miles Morales), another surprising ally, enjoyed a great time filming the scene, according to Holland.
“We do walk away with stories from the stunt doubles,” he told James Corden on “The Late Late Show” in July, adding that it was “pretty cool” and then giggling about “doing an amazing fight with someone who’s way taller than me.”
Zendaya was not immune to Holland’s antics either. “When you’re with an actor, if they’re acting like an idiot, it makes it fun for me,” the actress told PEOPLE in April.
When Zendaya commented that the spider bite “was a gummy thing” she was pointed out that there was no gummy impact at all and it was actually a big, hard bite.
